Local Archives
Here are some archives with primary sources for local history. However, you could also think about:
- Local mills, factories, faith organisations, schools, youth organisations, trade organisations… (all of which might have their own archives or may have deposited their archives elsewhere)
- Contacting local history societies and academic historians and look out for any projects that already exist that explore migration in and out of your area
